Trained Dogs Available For Professional Photography, Commercials, And Motion Pictures
Candy Crawford is a member of the Memphis Film Commission and Tennessee Film Commission. She began training animals for professional photography, commercials and motion pictures in 1972. Her first professional work was done for Playboy Magazine, in which she trained a black stallion for professional pictures with a professional model.
She was requested to train animals for United Artists and MGM in 1994 and was ask to audition for Animal Planet, as a dog trainer, in 2002. She has trained dogs for United Artists, MGM, Paramount Productions and Hallmark Hall of Fame in major motion pictures such as A FAMILY THING, THE PAINTED HOUSE, BLACK SNAKE MOAN, etc.
She has also trained dogs for commercials for Rhodes Furniture, Terminex, The Miss Junior Pageant, The Great Outdoors Event, Petco Pet Stores, etc. She has also provided a dog for a professional local photographer, API, for Sunshine Mills, (Joy Dog Food) and others.
She has been featured on a local CBS affiliate (Channel 3) for her expertise in training protection dogs for individuals, particularly for senior citizens and what a wonderful deterrent protection dogs are in the prevention of crime.
She was also featured on ABC (Channel 24) news for training a service dog for an individual in King’s Daughters and Sons Nursing Home, which was the first time in Tennessee history a service dog, had been trained to aid an individual in a nursing home.
